This project will reconstruct and modernize the SR-267 Interchange on I-65 in Whitestown. This interchange is currently poorly constructed and has a bad ramp layout which leads to truck traffic being misdirected in the wrong direction due to a confusing layout. Current plans for the project are to construct a second new overpass just north of the current overpass that will carry eastbound traffic (to Albert S White Dr) and convert the south overpass to southbound traffic (to SR-267) in a diverging diamond configuration the new diverging diamond configuration will better facilitate movements through the corridor, reduce driver confusion and provide safer and more logical connections to the interstate as well as alternate roads (such as CR 400 E and Perry Worth Road) which will access the route via a new frontage connector. The project is expected to begin construction in 2020 per the current STIP. It is currently in the planning and environmental phase.
