Indianapolis Metro

Indianapolis Metro Area and surrounding counties. Projects of a regional significance to the area and that address local congestion issues.

Northwest Indiana

Includes Northwest Metro Cities such as Hammond, Gary, Crown Point and Michigan City. These Projects are of significance to a growing area that is expected to see revitalization and renewal. As burgeoning Suburbs of the Greater Chicago Areaa these cities have the potential to become economic centers of their own if they play their cards right.

Louisville Metro

Clarksville, Jeffersonville, and New Albany are part of indiana but also part of the Louisville Metro Area. As such development of roads is sometimes a joint venture with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet as was the river bridge project. Many people commute across the rivers daily creating a need for transportation infrastructure that facilitates easy crossings but also helps travelers north of the river get around.

Cincinnati Metro

While most of Cincinnati's metro Area is located in Ohio and Kentucky, a sliver of it (West Harrison and Lawrenceburg) is also in Indiana. That may not seem like much but it has an impact on the future as the metro continues to grow. What will the future hold as the region grows and how will that affect traffic on Indiana's Highways.
