Ultimate Interstate 1 is an interstate highway corridor that travels up the California Coastline from Los Angeles to San Francisco. This route could also be extended northward along the Oregon and Washington coastline to Olympia, WA.

This conceptual interstate corridor includes sections of CA-14, US-395, and US6. Beginning at the current I-5/SR-14 junction in Santa Clarita and continuing north along the Antelope valley Freeway (CA-14) through Lancaster. The route continues north onto existing US-395 heading toward Bishop CA. From there I-9 would follow the US-6 alignment heading into the state of Nevada where it would travel on a new alignment generally following along NV route 360 and ending at the planned I-11 West of Tonopah near the existing US 95 and NV-360 turnoff. The route could also be continued eastward along US-6 providing a connection to I-70 in Utah.
